So you’ve been hearing big changes are coming? You’ve heard perhaps about some small group meetings, some possible gym feng shui and maybe even about a merger with Endurance.

We’re here to tell you that all of these things are true. In an effort to pursue growth and improvement, we spent the months of September and October meeting with a representative population of our membership base, receiving and internalizing feedback on a variety of topics and using that feedback to come up with some changes that we feel, will benefit everyone in our community.

Earlier this week, you should have received an email with the major details and a projected timeline of these changes. If you missed it, you can read that email here. There are a few items that we would like to bring to your attention:

a. The Merger - Starting on Monday, Nov. 5th, we will be welcoming all of the Kingfield Endurance athletes into our ranks. The two businesses are merging in an effort to uphold our values of inclusivity and community.

With new faces integrating into classes, we encourage you to say hi! To make the Endurance athletes feel welcome as they come into the fold. Ensure them that they have been doing the same thing you do, just in different rooms! What a great opportunity to unify our community and support some different and unique goals!

b. The Move - on Saturday, Dec. 1st, we will be removing the rig in the turf room and moving the weightlifting platforms from the CF room into the turf room. There will be a whole slew of activities that afternoon/evening to get the space right for classes the next morning. We are planning on providing pizza and beer (or La Croix) for dozen or so able-bodied (all of you) people who are available and willing to help. If you are one of these people, please email Caitlin directly.

c. The Schedule - Starting on Monday, Dec. 3rd, our class schedule will change. Our weekday schedule will be consistent across all days:

Monday - Friday

5, 6, 9AM
Noon
4, 5, 6, 7PM

Open gym any time class is not going on

Saturday

8 & 9AM
10AM - 2PM Open Gym

Sunday

10AM & 11AM
Noon Weightlifting

Strength Class will follow a slight adjustment in schedule with classes on Monday, Wednesday & Friday evening @ 6PM and on Tuesday and Thursday morning @ 6AM.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll dive deeper into these changes and talk a little more about the why and the benefit we feel will come from them. And soon, we’ll have even more exciting news as we jump headfirst into the new year. For now, if you have questions or concerns, please talk with a coach!

**Athletes will use two different weights for each AMRAP. They should focus on weights that will allow them to perform PERFECT TECHNICAL SINGLE REPS!! NO TOUCH AND GO REPS!!
