  1. Choose 3 words that best describe you.

  2. In 2-4 sentences, tell us - “why CrossFit?”
CrossFit is my therapy. The physical & mental process of our workouts, in addition to camaraderie with the community is like no other. No matter what kind of day I’m having I know I’m going to walk out of the gym motivated to be a better daughter, friend, colleague, human. My motivation from a physical aspect is to remain strong and independent for the next 50 years!! #lifer

  3. What goals are you working on - inside of Kingfield?
I’m coming up on my 9th year of doing CrossFit, so PR’s, new movements and goals have kind of run their course (a few times). I guess for the past few months I’ve been ‘working on’ an internal struggle whether to stick with traditional CrossFit or take the jump to weightlifting for a while (!!) I’ve always loved the process and would love to see where it goes if I’m able to dedicate more than one day a week to it.

  4. In 2-4 sentences, tell us what you’re up to OUTSIDE of Kingfield.
I have an amazing circle of friends that I love spending time with – lots of fun nights around the bonfire ahead this Fall! I am an only child of a ‘retired’ single Mom so we are also very close. After having to take a year off due to a different job, I’ve also been able to get back into Judging during (what used to be) ‘competition season’. I just enjoyed my 4th year Judging at Regionals, 3rd at the Games, and 5th year on the Judge Directors team at the Granite Games J (it’s so big there are 5 of us!!). I am a ‘L2’ CrossFit Coach and also hold the CrossFit Powerlifting and CrossFit Weightlifting certs, however have had to take a step back from coaching over the last year with my new job. I do miss it. For my professional life, I work in investment banking on an equity capital markets desk where we originate and execute IPO’s and secondary offerings of stock.

  5. If you had 1 box for all of your things - what would you put in it?
How big is this box!?? For sure I would have the love of my life (my dog), Norman. Something to listen to music. Good eye cream and sunscreen!

  6. What is your spirit animal?
    Cougar ;) RAWR!!
