What is Crossfit?
CrossFit is based on the prescription of constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensities. It combines compound movements – squatting, pressing, gymnastics, weightlifting, running, jumping, rowing – in different ways meant to challenge you each time you walk through the door. At Kingifeld, we take great care to teach the mechanics of movement and ensure consistency before dosing intensity. Those participating in the strength program have completed requisite time in CrossFit classes and receive 3d/wk of specialized strength programming to be completed in Open gym.
